2004 Mrs. Mississippi
Wife of the Year Pageant
The Mrs. Mississippi Wife of the Year Pageant began in 1999 with a mere six contestants. That pageant ended with the crowning of Mrs. Mississippi Wife of the Year 2000, Cheryl Abernathy, representing Metro Jackson. Cheryl was in her mid-30's with two teenager children when she won the crown. The Mrs. Mississippi Wife of the Year Pageant has become the largest Mrs. Pageant in the state of Mississippi. This pageant has grown into the largest Mrs. Pageant System because of it's system of scoring. The typical married woman can enter this pageant regardless of age or size. There are three areas of competition including evening gown, interview and casual wear. The pageant has crowned winners ranging from 22 years old in 2001 up to 65 years old in 2004. We believe as long as you can dream it, you can achieve it.
